I just got an email from my old dentist with the following link (I couldn't bear to actually put the youtube video on my blog). This is the same guy that is most likely responsible for the fact that I had to have a root canal on the only filling I have in my mouth.

You actually let this guy use metal objects in your mouth??
I know... what was I thinking?!? When I first went they walked me through a hall that had all of his awards on the wall for cosmetic dentistry (warning sign #1). Then they told me he used to be a stand-up comic. (warning sign #2) They took really high-powered photos of my mouth so after he left me waiting in the chair for my examination for 30 minutes (warning sign #3), he didn't even bother to LOOK IN MY MOUTH.
Yes, that should have been the final straw, but apparently I'm not a fast learner. I will NEVER go back!
Oh... and they messed with a filling that they probably should have left alone and that's why I had to have a root canal. The tooth wasn't bothering me, but they said it needed work... they got too close to the root when they were messing around with it.
But good news, I have a FABULOUS new dentist.
what a strange dentist...not sure where you learned dentist discernment, but Dr. Trosvig set a high standard! :)
